PMG Choice Extremely Fine 45.The earliest iteration of the $10 Gold Certificate, the engraved signatures of Vernon and Treat can be found at opposite ends of the portrait of Treasurer Michael Hillegas. A bold orange-gold overprint accompanies the portrait of Hillegas and cuts a strong impression by virtue of bold color and the small size of the serial numbers compared to what is frequently encountered on the Series of 1922. Indeed a perfect example to represent a comparatively uncommon Friedberg that is often found below the grade of Very Fine.
