Pleasant color and appearence. Slabbed by PCGS as AU 55. (Top Pop), the finest known in the PCGS census. Excellent 1/2 real from the RR.CC., minted in Granada. It is a doubly strange piece. On the one hand, because there are not more than a dozen pieces from this mint. On the other hand, and this is the most interesting and important thing, because, on the reverse, there are two anomalies that make it different from the other known pieces: the first one is the absence of roundels (ʘ) on both sides of the Y; and the second one refers to the finishings, shaped like a grenade, which can be found in the crown, as well as in the ornament below. If we add its perfect condition to all of this, we find ourselves in front of a piece that we dare grading as unique among the ones known so far. Única conocida sin roeles en reverso. G-G a los lados de la F coronada. Muy redonda y con las leyendas completas. Encapsulada por PCGS como AU 55. (Top Pop), el mejor ejemplar conservado en el censo de PCGS. Medio excelente de los RR.CC., acuñado en Granada, se trata de un ejemplar doblemente raro, por una parte, porque no existen más de una decena de ejemplares de esta ceca. Y, por otra parte, lo más interesante e importante, que, en reverso, presenta dos anomalías diferenciadoras con los otros ejemplares conocidos, una de ellas es la ausencia de roeles (ʘ) a los lados de la Y; y, por otro, los remates en forma de granada tanto en la corona como en el adorno inferior. Si a todo esto le añadimos su excelente estado de conservación nos encontramos ante un ejemplar que nos atrevemos a calificar como único conocido, hasta ahora, que hará las delicias de los más exigentes coleccionistas de monedas áureas de Fernando e Isabel.
