Duplicated Serial Numbers.The BEP accidently duplicated serial numbers on the 2013 Series $1 Federal Reserve Star Notes for the New York Federal Reserve Bank. One note was printed in Washington DC and the other in Forth Worth. Finding a matching pair of serial numbers for this error has been difficult, much like finding a certain needle in a stack of hay. Nonetheless, a veritable horde of collectors feverishly search straps of $1s with a hope of finding a matched pair albeit often with little success. Both notes have been assigned a grade of Very Fine 25 by PMG.<p>
