Richly rainbow toned over boldly struck details and muted luster, rare first date of brief type in top condition, likely the finest and only one at this grade since the entry it ties with at NGC is probably this same coin from when it was in Lissner. Pedigreed to the Gregorio Toulemonde Collection (stated on label) and to the R.L. Lissner Collection (St. Jamess/CNG/Teller auction of August 2014, lot 1477).
