Silver "cupcake" ingot, 682 grams, XRF tested at about 92-95% silver, ex-Concepción (1641). 3" in diameter and 2" tall. Shaped exactly like a cupcake, this was neat little ingot was made by pouring unrefined silver into a cup, with some raised parts on top and near bottom on side but otherwise uniform, typically devoid of any markings (probably contraband), lightly toned and desirable as a significant artifact (not just a coin) from this well-known shipwreck. With original certificate from Captain Tracy Bowden through his Concepción contract with the Dominican Republic and accompanied by the July 1996 issue of National Geographic signed by Captain Tracy Bowden on his article "Gleaning Treasure from the Silver Bank."
