1875-76, Two redesigned 2s Cherry Blossom covers, each franked by Scott #54; the first a front only from Otsu (?) to Ebetsunakano in Hokkaido, the postage tied by 3.28 postmark (no year), a second stamp with top margin affixed and tied by red manuscript brush stroke cancel noting Postage Due use; the second a complete cover from Futamata to Tokyo, the stamp with left margin and full strike of kiban "nu 13" cancel and tied by 9.7.5 double-ring postmark, with Mitsuke same-day transit and Tokyo 9.7.7 receiver below; each with faults, none of which affect stamps or markings, Fine to Very Fine.
