1988年香港渣打银行壹仟圆。档案样票。编号D000000。橙色与多彩，龙在右侧，戴头盔罗马士兵在左。反面色调接近，银行徽章居中，银行大楼在左，中央打孔SPECIMEN OF NO VALUE。品相华美的档案样票，缺少红色样票加盖，因此与普通样票不同。此为冠军分，两张同分。共评10张，但是实际上此亚型更为稀罕，可惜PMG标籤上并无未对两款作出区分，因此未能找到确切数量数据。包含普通红色加盖样票在内，评级记录中仅有十张。编者在主要数据库中并未找到此版别的记录。此张或是公开拍卖中仅有的一张。极为罕见，吉祥龙的设计与2024龙年不谋而合！<p>(t) HONG KONG (SAR). Orange and multicolour, dragon at right, watermark of a helmeted Roman soldier at left, reverse in similar colours, Bank arms at centre, Bank building at left, perforated SPECIMEN OF NO VALUE at centre.<p><p>A most magnificent example of this archival specimen that distinguishes itself from the normal specimens by the lack of the SPECIMEN overprinted in red. 1/3 TOP POP. Total Population: 10, but see below. <p>This sub type is much rarer but unfortunately PMG does not distinguish between the two on their labels and hence no exact figures can be reproduced for potential bidders. The total popular of ten pieces include the normal specimens with the red overprint and the cataloguer cannot find any examples of this exact sub type on the main databases. This piece could very well be the only example available in the public domain. Fabulously rare and a popular design befitting for 2024!
