1924年香港有利银行伍拾圆。样票。棕色与黑色印于浅蓝与粉红，上方中央插图为海岸图景。反面色调类似，中央为墨丘利头顶带翼头盔。原装精选未流通状态，墨色艳丽，原纸悦目。下方边缘轻微有黄，以致错失更高评分，但无碍整体美观。因其弯曲的插图而被本地藏家戏称为香蕉船，是香港纸币中的标志性经典版别。拍卖纪录中的流通票仅有3-4张，包括2018年以146,000美元(含佣金)高价落槌的一张。如欲收藏此版，样票或试色票是较为亲民的方式。PMG仅评七张，鲜少在公开拍卖中亮相。上一次上拍为2020年1月，获评PMG 65-EPQ，成交价为61,600美元(含佣金)。高品质香港纸币近来热度上升，相信此拍品不难成为本场拍卖的焦点。<p>

An original choice uncirculated note in bold and striking colours on original paper. Minor toning on the lower border prevents this from the higher grades and does not distract the observer from its impressive appearance. <p><p>Nicknamed the Banana Split by local collectors because of the curved shaped of the vignette this is a classical and iconic type through the whole Hong Kong series. Only 3-4 issued notes extant with the last one sold in 2018 for a whopping USD$146,000 inclusive of the Buyers Premium and therefore the most likely way to obtain this type is through either specimens or colour trials. This note is only one of seven graded by PMG and very seldom offered in public auctions. The last piece sold was in January 2020, in which a PMG 65-EPQ note sold for USD61,600 (including the Buyers Premium). With the recent strong interest in high calibre Hong Kong specimens we are certain that this piece will be the centre of attention in our Hong Kong section.
