A stunning Small 5 green Roman 5 Dollar expedient specimen bearing the first date of 18th August 1930. Green, black and red, male Roman soldier at left, bank arms at upper centre, watermark area at right, reverse green, sampan at centre. Printed by Waterlow and Sons.<p>Both the issued notes and specimens are rare, especially the latter of which only two are known. There are 32 issued examples for Pick 53 of which this note is one of two notes in TOP POP. <p>A survivor in fabulous condition given the series circulated from c.1931 to 1960 and with forced exchange of Japanese Invasion money during World War II.
