Grey-green, on orange and multicolour, George V at right, reverse green, prowling tiger at centre, classical bust at left. <p>A hitherto unknown shade of colour for this so called Proof pair that is more akin to the issued 10 Dollars. The popularity of pre-production material from the Straits Settlements is immense judging from our prices fetched for the 5 and 10 Dollars uniface pairs from the series of 1925 in October 2023. We are certain that this lot, as well as the 10 Dollar pair also in this auction, will attract the attention of even the most advanced and discerning of collectors.
