Printers Model & Artists Rendition.A pair of uniface obverse and reverse artists rendition in pencil for an unadopted designed for 10,000 Rupiah, c.1985, judging by the signature combination and date on the obverse.<p>Obverse: depicts a group of male artists sitting on the floor and also a 50% fragment depicting drum players. <p>Reverse: government building and spiked monument. <p>These are officially presented in an album labelled and prepared by Peruri, the printer for banknotes along with three accompanying photos from which the above design elements were based upon. <p>This unique presentation album gives an important insight on the often difficult and detailed work required in designing banknotes. The final design shows R. A. Kartini on the obverse and a female university graduate on the reverse, markedly different to the designs show here. Fascinating.<p><p><p><p>
