A dramatic mint error struck using two reverse dies, this fantastic piece belongs to a category of supreme singularity and desirability within the Republic series of Chinese copper coinage. The first we have seen offered of this particular pairing, this piece offers smooth chocolate-brown surfaces with light glossiness in the fields. A shallow gouge in the center of one side accounts for the assigned grade, but in the face of its sheer <strong>RARITY </strong>does little to diminish the overall appeal.
