Struck to commemorate the completion of the Kweichow (Guizhou) Provincial Highway, and reportedly featuring Governor Zhou Xichengs personal automobile. Already a timeless classic of the 20th century series, this issue presents a roadster at a period in which the automobile--<em>and its importance in daily life</em>--was still in its infancy. <strong>VERY RARELY</strong> encountered in more elevated, problem-free states of preservation, this type should be considered virtually unobtainable in Mint State. Wholly accordingly, PCGS has graded just four specimens in Mint State (<em>all at the MS-61 level</em>) across the three L&M types. As such, the idea of rivaling the present example can be considered extremely challenging, and surpassing it, quite possibly an unfulfilled life goal.
