By Karl Goetz. Kienast-289. Diameter: 36mm. Obverse: Workmen lifting a statuary head of an eagle with a crane, perimeter legends at left and right, signature at lower right; Reverse: Eleven-line legend above hands clasping wheat, date below. Originally issued in 1921, then modified with the 1933 date and reissued. UNCIRCULATED.<p>3) XI Olympiad in Berlin Bronze Participation Medal, 1936. By Otto Placzek. Diameter: 69mm. Obverse: Five athletes standing, looking left, one foot on step at right, left and arms extended holding poles; XI OLYMPIAD vertically at left, BERLIN vertically at right and 1936 on pedestal; Reverse: Bell adorned with German eagle and Olympic rings, inscription on the sound bow, concentric rings to rim; signature at lower right. Some light rub on high points of obverse and reverse, and a spot of verdigris on the obverse. ALMOST UNCIRCULATED.<p>4) XI Olympiad Enameled Automobile Plaque, 1936. Dimensions: 77mm x 72mm. Obverse: Brandenburg Gate with 1936 above and BERLIN on base, five Olympic rings below; white enamel with brass details; Reverse: Stamped WILH. DEUMER LÜDENSCHEID. Similar to visitor badges but with limited distribution. EXTREMELY FINE.<p>5) XI Olympiad Gymnastics Demonstration Team Participant Badge, 1936. Diameter: 26.5mm (medal only). Obverse: Five Olympic rings over the Brandenburg Gate, inscription on base of the gate; Reverse: Salmon-colored cloth rosette and pin.
