1723 Woods Hibernia Halfpenny. Martin 4.76-Gd.2, W-13570. Rarity-5. MS-64 BN (PCGS).118.9 grains. Hard and glossy with a softly frosted texture and lots of original color in faded mint-orange. Both sides also exhibit blended olive-tan and gray-brown patina. Sharply struck and ideally centered with full denticulation encircling both sides. A tiny flan flaw at the rim at 5 oclock is as made and hardly worth mentioning. Really a lovely example, and ideal for high grade type purposes.PCGS# 920898.
