The British Caribbean Currency Board played a vital role in issuing a unified currency known as the British West Indies dollar for these colonies.A particularly rare and noteworthy artifact from this period is this specimen 100 dollars banknote, dated 28th November 1950, serial number A/1 000000, was issued by the British Caribbean Territories.
