1977-1983年汇丰银行壹仟圆库存票及印刷馀票一对，无日期，前者评PMG 64，后者装封PMG套，评级报告中仅有3枚，而此品更是亚军分，进阶香港纸钞藏家必收 Hong Kong and Shanghai Banking Corporation, pair of progressive proofs $1000 cut from a unique sheet, ND (1977-83), orange and multicolour underprint, coat of arms at right, reverse orange and multicolour, old HSBC building at right, lion head at left, printed by Bradbury, Wilkinson & Co. Limited,(Pick 190r), PMG 64 Choice Uncirculated, and in holder no grade, only 3 of this type on record in the PMG population report, this being the second highest grade! Note that Bradbury Wilkinson are not known to produce remainders and these notes were cut from pre-final production proofs sheets that were created for final approval from the printer and HSBC. Hence they are NOT remainders or printing remnants as designated by PMG. Exceedingly rare, a must-have for any serious collector of vintage Hong Kong banknotes. (2)
