An important piece of in Hong Kong coinage that was minted during the war but never actually circulated. The much scarcer Heaton mint example compared to its counterpart from King Norton mint. With only small nicks noted on the reverse, a lovely example. Not to be missed by any advanced Hong Kong collectors. An AU55 example sold at Spink in March 2023 for HKD180,000 (inc. BP)
