Obverse: Heads of Agrippa, wearing combined rostral crown and laurel wreath, and Augustus, laureate, back to back; Reverse: Crocodile right, chained to palm frond with wreath at top with long ties to right; two palm fronds at base. A delightful and ever-popular provincial issue, this specimen presents Romes first emperor along with his best friend (and son-in-law), the general Agrippa. Some adjustment flans are noted--highly typical of the emission.
