Dark green, deep purple and black on orange, contemporary building at centre, reverse blue on blue-green, pleasure boat sailing on the Yangtze River (Chang Kiang).<p>This pack of remainders from Bank of Chang Kiang is an unlisted 1927 design of extreme rarity. Just a handful have traded publicly, fetching in some cases a few thousand US dollars. This is the first time we have handled the design, and we are fortunate to bring this special pack to market. <p>The Bank of Chang Kiang, with a capital of 213,084 Dollars, was founded by the warlord Yang Sen (1884-1977) of the Sichuan clique who became the Military Governor of Sichuan Province in 1925. A hitherto great rarity in banknotes printed by Sichuan based issuers. <p>
