Generous orange-red remains in the fields close to the devices, though the fields have largely mellowed to light reddish-brown with accents of steel and pale blue. Some extremely faint hairlines are visible under magnification, but the overall eye appeal is superb. A later die state with a long spidery crack extending downward into the right obverse field right of Washingtons forehead. A trace of striking softness at the upper area of Washingtons head and in the corresponding area of the reverse, as usually seen. Struck on a tightly spaced flan, but remarkably well centered for the type.PCGS# 747. NGC ID: 2B7M.
