A <strong>VERY SCARCE</strong> mint and year combination for this elusive denomination, and especially so in the present state of preservation, this piece taking the crown as the sole finest example certified by either PCGS or NGC. The reverse is particularly handsome, the surfaces fairly undisturbed and original, while a swath of deep blue toning pervades the obverse. An enviable example destined for the connoisseur of this difficult series.
