In 1914 the Ministry of Finance approved the American Bank Note Company ot print this series. While shipping in 1915 the notes sunk in the sea. The general died shortly after that leaving this series unissued and only a scant few obtainable. Only 14 pieces in the PMG Population Report at the time of cataloging, this piece carries the second highest grade. Red Specimen overprints and four POCs are mentioned for accuracy.
