An exceptionally collectible and EXTREMELY RARE emission from the reign of Haidar Ali, Mohurs from Mysore are amongst the most elusive of coins from the princely states series. We have been unable to trace another example of this regnal year trading at auction, with the most common date being Year 20 (1782). While the AH date is off flan, the reginal date is strong and clear, and the surfaces display no evidence of wearing. A piece that is worthy of strong bids from any specialist in the Princely States series.
