拍品描述： 民国三年袁世凯像壹圆银币。 (t) CHINA. Dollar, Year 3 (1914). PCGS AU-58. 云南版一型。与普通袁大头的版别不一，币缘较厚，而且坯模本身亦略有不同，铭字锐利，而肖像和花环则较为柔和。丝滑缎面光泽覆盖，近原厂品相，经仔细检阅始现极淡的经手痕迹。罕见高评，此版的专家定为其争夺。 cf. L&M-63 (for prototype); cf. Completely distinctive from the standard look for a Yuan Shih-kai Dollar, the rims are thicker and the strike itself seems different with sharpness to the Chinese characters yet softness to the portrait and wreath. Endowed with a thick coat of satin luster, this piece could easily pass as fully Mint State save for some careful examination that reveals the faintest signs of handling. Exceedingly difficult and RARE at such a high grade, variety specialists will hotly contest this piece.
