On the very cusp of Gem in terms of technical surface quality, offering an essentially mark-free reverse with only a few scattered marks on the portrait, with some light planchet roughness apparent on the high points of either side due to strike weakness. Extraordinarily flashy, the luster smooth and watery throughout, a ring of golden tone gracing the outer rims. A gorgeous example.
