(t) CHINA. Tibet. Sho (1/10 Srang), ND (1910). Hsuan-tung (Xuantong [Puyi]). PCGS EF-40. L&M-653; KM-Y-5; WS-0238. Variety with overhead flower and large characters. Pale olive gray surfaces demonstrate some charcoal patina toward the rim on the obverse. Though the strike does not fully fill out every design element, it certainly is above average for the rather crude issue. Wear is kept at a minimum for the assigned grade, helping to make detail more legible, while some original luster can be spotted with rotation. Original and quite appealing, this Sho merits considerable attention.
