One of the more interesting and less commonly encountered issues from the Tibetan series, this example of the later Szechuan-Tibet type delivers well presented details, despite some evident time in circulation. The nature of the incuse "4" punch is unknown, but could refer to districts in Tibet, where the authorities impressed these numbers to enforce circulation. This example is the first of this type we have offered, and we expect many excited bids.
