Government of Sarawak, $100, 1 July 1929, serial number F/1 00,507, purple, Charles Vyner Brooke at centre,(Pick 19), PMG 20 Very Fine, stains. One of the great rarities of South East Banknotes, with this being one of the best condition example known. In theory, 10,000 notes were printed for the $100, but in reality a tiny number were actually used for any transactions and out of that small group, nearly all were either redeemed or destroyed during Japanese Occupation. Currently, less then a handful of examples are known. This is the only example on PMG Census. Sure to be the crown jewel of any South East Asia collection. Importand and not to be missed
