China, Tang Dynasty or later, a copper, tin, and lead alloy mirror, one side was highly polished for reflective purposes, reverse decorated with intricate patterns of mythical sea creatures and grapes casted from clay moulds. These mirrors were often found as funerary objects in tombs of aristocrats, especially those during the reign of Tang Gao Zong till Tang Xuan Zong, hence it is a good indicator that such mirrors were in vogue among the social elite during this period. Diametre approximately 9.3cm, weighs 183.6g, about extremely fine. Impressive craftsmanship, and relatively unusual as this single ring example deviates from the usual designs with an inner ring
