民国八年广东实业银行壹员库存票，汕头地名，无编号，PMG 20，纸角有缺，该行于1917年开业，总行设于广东，并在汕头设立分行。从历史记载来看，发行的纸钞只有伍员、拾员及伍拾员，而且应该都是广东发行的，如本品般汕头地名则未有记载；有二项公开拍卖记录：分别是中国嘉德(无红加盖)及上海阳明拍卖(下方纸角裁剪)，另2枚手绘设计稿曾于斯宾克“香港印钞公司样钞”专场亮相，本品相信已是最接近流通票的一枚，广东实业银行于广东金融史上影响深远，本品弥足珍贵，资深藏家万勿错过。

Kwangtung Sat Yip Bank opened in 1917 with their headquarter in Kwangtung and a branch in Swatow.
From historical records, only 5, 10 and 50 yuan notes were issued, and all should be issued from Kwangtung. Hence this Swatow 1 dollar is unrecorded. Research shows only 2 examples have been seen in public auction; one at China Guardian (example without two red chops), and one at YangMing (lower 2 corners cut). And Spink also offered 2 hand drawn models as part of our Hong Kong Printing Press Collection. This example is possibly the best known and closest one will get to an issued note from this elusive yet important bank.
