The Napier - Thompson signature combination is highly scarce with any design it is found on and these 1899 Silver Certificates are no exception. Just over 100 examples are known in all grades and these low number notes make up a large portion of the population. This note also bears courtesy autograph of Carmi Thomson. The quality is simply outstanding with great care being given to the note throughout its over 100 year existence. Nice embossing, sharp inks and great centering all contribute to the lofty Gem grade assigned by PCGS Currency. <p>
