The "Prince Elector" type, this first year of issue presents a good deal of enchanting brilliance remaining along with very little observed wear. Given the newly-installed kings previous role in Germany--<em>namely, as the Prince Elector of Hannover</em>--this additional title was included at the end of the reverse legend (as PR EL), thus accounting for the denominations appellation.
