拍品描述： 1788 Massachusetts Half Cent. Ryder 1-B, W-6010. Rarity-2. AU Details--Tooled (PCGS). 81.3 grains. Medium olive-brown and steel with some undertones of brick-red and maroon. Minor evidence of an old cleaning and a few tooling scratches over the eagles left wing. A coin with an interesting history, described in our sale of the Schonwalter collection as possibly the discovery coin for the die state based on an appraisal ticket with annotations by Walter Breen that formerly accompanied the coin.
