This piece was funded just over a decade ago on Cinco de Mayo in 2013 (May 5, 2013) at a closing price of about US$115. In total, just about 8,350 of these 2013-dated Series 2 coins were funded across 2013 and 2014. Since being released, however, over 35% of these coins have been peeled and redeemed. The reverse features a holographic sticker with the firstbits address printed at the center. Beneath the holographic sticker is the private address that allows the owner to redeem the value of the bitcoin once the sticker is peeled away.
