Dalmore-25 year old-1970s Distilled prior to 1960, bottled in 1970s. Distilled at and bottled by Dalmore distillery, Alness, Ross-Shire Bottle number 299. In wooden presentation case. Good labelling, lightly scuffed neck label. Level: into neck.<I>"...Mouth: quite punchy! Slightly oily mouth feel, then loads of bigarreaux cherries, raspberry jam, fruit ganache… It gets then nuttier and more honeyed (honeyed cashew?) but the sherry remains quite strong even if it’s all perfectly integrated. A wonderful old sherried malt that’s still got lots to tell us. Very salty aftertaste." (5 stars-Whiskyfun) 75cl.
