India - Mughal Empire. MUGHAL: Farrukhsiyar, 1713-1719, AR rupee (11.54g), Qandahâr, year one (ahad), KM-377.66, with the mint epithet dar al-qarâr ("the house of permanence"), bold strike, clearly showing the regnal year "one", wonderful strong VF, RRRR. This is the Qandahar in the Deccan region of India, not the common Qandahar in Afghanistan (aka Kandahar), which was no longer under Mughal suzerainty during the reign of Farrukhsiyar; there are two examples on CoinArchives, lower quality and with the regnal year off flan (one of these also on Zeno, as #177387).
