Ancient - Armenia. ARMENIA: SASANIAN: AR drachm (2.62g), "MY", year "2", cf. Zeno-109363, early style, choice VF, RRR. Type based on the standard drachm of the Sasanian Hormizd IV (579-590), early type with pseudo-mint name and year, struck during the first half of the 7th century, before the replacement of the mint name by the Aramaic word ZWZWN, probably around 650, thereafter struck until late in the 7th century, perhaps as late as 694 or thereabouts.
