1750-A Sou Marque. Paris Mint. Vlack-30a. Rarity-5. Second Semester. AU-53 (PCGS).30.2 grains. Full silvering has toned nicely in warm, even dove-gray. Planchet striations at the upper right obverse border affect the detail both in that area and at the lower right reverse. As well, the strike is trivially off center to 6 oclock on the obverse, 12 oclock on the reverse, with die crumble partially obscuring the devices in the mintmark area. All major features are at last partially discernible, however, and many are bold. A thin planchet flaw in the lower left reverse field is noted.PCGS# 162689.From the Sydney F. Martin Collection.
