1748-A Sou Marque. Paris Mint. Vlack-28a. Second Semester. MS-61 (PCGS).29.5 grains. Light planchet striations in the centers and at the lower reverse border, yet still sharply struck in most areas. A vertical flan flaw in the reverse field, left of center, is also noted. With full silvering and bright satin luster, this minimally toned example makes a lovely impression on the eye. Of second semester strikings for the 1748-A issue Vlack (2004) states, None reported. Presumably very rare, as such, and sure to catch the eye of specialists.PCGS# 915860.From the Sydney F.
