A rare copper impression from these dies, a variety that is actually more commonly found in silver. Syd recorded two copper examples, the present coin and an example in the Armagh Robinson Library in Northern Ireland. This is a well detailed piece with the interesting damage of having its brass splasher gouged out by someone long ago who thought it was gold.
