While some marks on the bright surfaces account for the details designation, the well-produced host coin retains almost all of its details and eye appeal. The countermark was boldly applied, resulting in a deep impression and clear details along with a corresponding bulge on the opposite site. A charming example of the type, struck over a less-common host coin.
