An interesting set, depicting important individuals from the founding of the State of Shu Han during the Three Kingdoms period. Examples from this series seldom appear on the market let alone a complete set in the original case and box of issue with individually serial numbered certificates of authenticity serial number 000213. Also, included is an unusual promotional pamphlet written in Japanese. This is important because it indicates where this set was originally distributed upon release. Each coin exhibits crisp sharply struck and frosty devices with hard flashy mirrored fields. Close inspection reveals light wispy hairlines in the exposed areas purely mentioned for accuracy, but nothing overly distracting. Each is free of tone, haze or fog offering a pleasing brilliant appearance.
