Presumably struck to commemorate the completed restoration of the Chih Kan Tower, which was originally constructed in the 17th century. A RARE issue that we have not offered. A similar issue was sold in our May 2020 Hong Kong sale with a different reverse for $2,280 (lot # 42454).
